[内容简介] 本书考察香港身份认同在媒体化政治传播中的话语构建,以期理解香港媒体话语与其政治经济学机制之间的深层关系,进而揭示香港媒体参与认同政治的动力机制。作者认为,香港身份认同在过去的几十年里发生了重大改变。这些改变受更为广泛的政治变化、经济发展和文化变迁所影响,而这些影响因素无不在香港媒体系统中得到反映和过滤。本书借用语料库语言学、批判性话语分析、媒体政治经济学与身份认同社会学理论的分析技术与概念,使用创新性的文本与跨文本分析相结合的方法,对报纸新闻材料加以多层次分析,有助于更为深入地了解香港及其身份认同、政治文化与媒体系统。同时也显示,研究所使用的分析角度,即对于媒体政治经济学机制和身份认同媒体话语构建的平行考察,是一种创新而有效的研究视角,可以应用于世界其他地区多种政治、文化、社会背景下的案例分析。
