[内容简介] 近年来,随着澳门史研究的日益深入,特别是2005年澳门历史城区被列入世界文化遗产,澳门作为历史上中西文化交流的窗口的意义得到全面彰显。自16世纪澳门开埠,澳门逐渐发展成为一道独特的人文景观,在历史、文化、民族、社会等各个方面都呈现出与众不同的特性,堪称异质文化交流与会通的活范本,具有重要的研究价值。澳门大学以开阔的学术视野和独到的学术眼光,关注到这一点,提出了创建“澳门学”的主张,符合国际学术研究的发展规律和大的趋势。

本书是由澳门大学、澳门基金会、澳门欧洲研究学会主办,澳门社会科学学会、澳门学者同盟合办的首届澳门学国际学术研讨会论文集,收集了国内外从事澳门研究的著名学者的论文40篇。澳门学概念的提出,已有二十多年的历史。1986年以来,澳门学者陆续提出了建设澳门学的设想,并对澳门学的概念、内容以及方法等问题进行了初步的讨论。近年来,澳门大学澳门研究中心组织各方面的学术力量,悉心构建澳门学,努力追求澳门学知识系统的完整性和研究资料的丰富性,这是澳门学之所以能够成为一门独立学问的基础条件。本书基于澳门学这一概念,分别从物质生产、社会结构、人群组织、风俗习惯、宗教信仰等各个方面,对澳门社会的形成、变迁和发展过程进行了比较系统的分析,进一步丰富、发展了澳门学的内容、对象及其研究方法。该书内容广泛,理论与实践相结合,对于从事澳门研究的研究人员具有较高的学术价值。
