本书呈现了欧盟第七框架项目“解析中国人对欧盟的看法及其对相关政策的影响”课题的丰富内容,当属目前既涵盖北京等六个城市的中国人看待外国和国际关系、外交事务的首次随机公众调查,又包括对中国精英的意见调查的深入研究成果。本书为全面系统地研究中国人对欧盟和欧洲的态度和看法提供了丰富的具有代表性的实证数据和资料。中欧学者从不同的理论视角围绕该数据进行了分析,就内容的广度和深度以及扣合现实需要而言,对于中国和欧洲的学术研究机构、决策者和广大读者都具有重要的理论和实践价值。在研究路径上,不同学者不仅采用量化分析的方法对问卷中的实质性议题展开研究,而且从文本解读的角度分析中国人对欧洲和欧盟的态度及其社会化来源。在使用的理论资源上,来自心理学、社会心理学、社会学、国际关系、政治学等多学科的理论综合地起着构建研究框架的作用。就研究侧重点而言,描述和解释并重,前者并不局限于简单地展现统计数据,而是力图从国际比较、群体差异等方面来突出值得注意的研究重点,后者则以回归分析为主,强调解析社会现象上群体差异的决定因素和影响,并提出相应的政策建议。
