[内容简介] 战后美韩关系是韩国史和亚洲冷战史研究中的重要课题。本书作者选择了“冷战与发展”的视角,充分利用了包括《美国对外关系文件》、《解密文件参考系统》、《数字化国家安全档案》和《美国国务院特别机密文献》在内的多种美国外交档案解密系统,将1945-1987年韩国经济“起飞”和政治民主化进程作为一个整体,细致地考察了美国在韩国“民族国家建构”过程中扮演的角色和起到的作用。该书在纵向上将美国对第三世界的冷战战略作为总体背景,在横向上将美国对韩国政策放在全球和亚洲政策中加以阐释,力争实现微观研究与宏观考察的有机结合,方法论上具有创新性。这部著作为韩国史研究提供了新的视角,对于亚洲冷战史研究亦有推动作用。

 前言
