很长一段时间以来,我们对于“又好又快”的“好”的理解主要集中在环保、低耗、节能等方面,是环境、能源等物质方面的指标。这些当然都是必要的,但是还不够。因为这些指标基本上还是着眼于经济,在经济增长的“好”背后还有一个更加根本性的标准,这就是“好生活”。“好生活”的“好”是一个综合的评价指标,它还应该包括:好(合理)的政治体制、好(优良)的道德环境、好(正确)的价值观和世界观、好(和谐)的人际关系(好社会)、好(愉快)的心情,等等。由于经济理性属于工具理性,它关心的核心问题是效益问题,因此它无法从根本上回答何为“好生活”的问题。或者说,它对“好生活”的理解只是停留在物质计量、工具理性、绩效考核的层次,无法进入实质理性、价值理性的层次。“好生活”的问题,从根本上讲是一个文化问题,一个价值观的向题。
