[内容简介] 阿兰·邓迪斯是20世纪后半期美国民俗学界的代表人物。他在民俗学基本理论方面确立民俗阐释为民俗研究的最终目标,积极推动民俗的语境研究,扩大了民俗的范围;他在民俗学研究方法上融汇历史-地理、结构主义、精神分析等,形成了独具特色的综合研究方法;他在民俗学研究实践上对具体民俗事象往往做出异于前人的独到阐释。他的民俗学研究对中国的民俗学发展有启迪意义。本书即是对阿兰·邓迪斯民俗学研究的论述。
