[内容简介] 本书的核心观点是,美国军事制度的嵌入程度主要受到国际压力的大小、军事学说的冲突程度和各军种间的竞争程度的影响。本书构建的新理论模式,在宏观层次上从一个新的角度系统提示了二战后美国军事制度变迁的逻辑,同时也解释了各军种间的竞争和军政关系如何影响了美国军事制度的变迁和安全政策的制定。这有助于我们理解美国军方的行为模式及其制度变迁的走向。
